Looking for cocktails in Dover? At The Nook, our cocktail menu brings together familiar classics, refreshing serves and a few drinks with a distinctly Nook twist.

Whether you’re joining us for food, meeting friends for drinks or settling in for something from the smokehouse, there is plenty to choose from.

What cocktails can you get at The Nook?

Our cocktail menu includes citrus-led classics, botanical flavours, spritzes and richer, spirit-forward drinks.

You’ll find familiar favourites such as the Margarita and Mojito alongside more playful options including the Dr Pepper Margarita and Coronavita.

The Coronavita is one of the most eye-catching drinks on the menu, combining tequila, lime and frozen ice with an inverted Corona for a crisp, citrus-forward finish; this is the perfect accompaniment to our pitmaster platter!

Which cocktails are light and refreshing?

If you prefer something fresh and easy-drinking, the English Garden and Kentish Fizz are both great choices.

The English Garden blends gin, elderflower, apple and lime for a crisp, floral drink, while the Kentish Fizz combines muddled blackberries, blackberry-lavender syrup, vodka and sparkling lemonade.

Both work well if you want something lighter before a meal or simply fancy a refreshing cocktail with friends.

What spritzes are available at The Nook?

If a spritz is more your thing, there are several options to choose from.

The Aperol Spritz brings together Aperol, prosecco and soda with its familiar bittersweet orange flavour, while the Hugo Spritz combines St-Germain, mint, lime, prosecco and soda for something fresh and floral.

There’s also Pimms, served with fruit and lemonade for a lighter, easy-drinking option.

Do you serve classic cocktails too?

Yes. Alongside our house twists, we also serve several well-known classics.

The Margarita keeps things simple with tequila, lime and orange liqueur, while the Mojito combines white rum, mint, lime and sugar with soda for a fresh, clean finish.

These are ideal if you know what you like and want something familiar.

What cocktail goes well with smokehouse food?

Bold smokehouse dishes can handle bold drinks, so there are a few pairings that work especially well.

A Margarita or Coronavita brings freshness and citrus, which works nicely alongside rich, smoky meats.

For something deeper, the Smoky Old Fashioned is an obvious match. Bourbon, bitters, sugar syrup and aromatic orange oils are stirred together before being smoked, giving the drink a rich character that pairs well with brisket, ribs and other smokehouse favourites.
